Our history

Quality and reliable solutions that stand the test of time

In a year that saw the first Le Mans 24 hour race and the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, 1923 was also the year when we were first established in Central London as ‘Rouse & Co’. Then in 1940 we moved to our new home in Beaconsfield, where we have continued to support businesses and individuals ever since.

In 2006 we became part of Vantis Plc, who were ranked 13th largest accountancy firm in the UK by Accountancy Age in 2010. This saw the Beaconsfield location combine four other well established practices into the business. Incorporating these additional partners, staff and clients doubled our size and gave us many years experience in and around the Thames Valley. These firms included:

  • Booth Anderson Chester from Harrow via the “City”
  • Brewer Higgins from Marlow
  • Wagstaff Chartered Accountants from Bracknell via Vantis’ Wokingham office
  • Wheawill and Sudworth from Victoria via Vantis’ Wokingham office

Following a management buyout from Vantis Plc by the Beaconsfield Partners in June 2010, we once again became an independent firm and ‘Rouse Partners’ chartered accountants was born.

Our history

Today we have not only grown in size but in reputation. We have over 70 skilled and talented staff continuing to deliver the experience and capability you would expect from a much larger organisation, but combined with the personal client service of an independent forward thinking firm.
