Praxity named Rising Star Association at IAB Awards

praxityPraxity – the world’s largest alliance of independent accountancy firms – was named Rising Star Association at this year’s International Accounting Bulletin Awards, held at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, London, on the 14th March.

This award confirms how Praxity and its member firms of which Rouse Partners are proud to be one, continue to go from strength to strength; judges praised the Alliance for offering members international scope, support and accomplishments and acknowledged its global expansion in a relatively short time span.

Praxity and its member firms were shortlisted in six out of 14 categories; Praxity was also Association of the Year runner-up, more than 100 firms and organisations were nominated.

Graeme Gordon, Praxity Executive Director, comments: “These wins evidence how much collaborative progress is being made by the Alliance and underline our ethos of having ‘truly global, trusted advisers’. When measured against our peers, Praxity’s firms are amongst the best in the world – delivering unrivalled service and support to clients and staff everywhere.”

Alongside the IAB editorial team, the 2013 Awards were judged by an independent panel, comprising former IASB Chairman and current ICAS President, Sir David Tweedie, ACCA Technical Director, Sue Almond and Wragge & Co’s Partner and Head of Accounting and Actuarial Liability, Jane Howard.
