Is your business ready to comply with GDPR? Get our free guide below, including the key requirements, tips for getting ready for GDPR and a quick checklist to assist you.
GDPR is a new set of rules governing the privacy and security of personal data. It meant major changes to privacy laws and with fines up to €20 million (£16.8 million) or four per cent of global turnover (whichever is greater), for businesses found not to comply. This means that there is now significant pressure to get it right.
There has been mixed reception from businesses. Some see it as a welcome first step in pushing privacy and data regulation into the digital age, whereas others view it as a burden of yet more red tape and financial constraint from the costs (time and resources) to accommodate the new regulations.
Whichever your school of thought, GDPR is here and your business needs to be prepared and that means ensuring your existing data, staff, processes and systems comply.
