Mel is a Senior Manager with a broad and varied career spanning finance, investment banking and accounting.
Before joining the accounting profession, she spent a decade as an Equity Derivatives Trading Analyst, rising to Associate Director level at UBS and Lehman Brothers, before moving into in-house financial support within the media industry. This diverse background gives her a distinctive commercial perspective that she brings to her work with clients.
Mel holds an EIS accreditation and operates across several areas, acting as financial controller overseeing internal financial processes, supporting the management of the accounts team and managing her own portfolio of clients. She has a particular passion for working with start-ups and scale-ups, enjoying the exposure to a wide range of industries and the opportunity to support businesses as they grow.
Outside of work, Mel enjoys countryside walks with her children, literature and baking — though she is still recovering from a narrow defeat in the office bake-off.
