Local charities gain our support via the Heart of Bucks

We recently joined the Heart of Bucks Community Investor Fund, an initiative connecting financial support from local businesses with local charities and not for profits.

We are pleased to share with you that the fund’s independent grants panel has selected the following Buckinghamshire based charities to each receive a share of the £15,000 issued in the latest round of funding.

  • Daytop Multicultural Centre: A project engaging and empowering socially isolated women by teaching them design and sewing skills in a social environment.
  • DrugFam: Support services for service users addressing substance abuse and addiction, and in particular supporting their families.
  • Restore Hope: To pilot a supported volunteering programme for previous beneficiaries of their services, in particular disadvantaged families who received crisis support with food and essentials throughout the lockdown.

“We are delighted to be involved in this initiative and working with the team at the Heart of Bucks. It is fantastic to see the fund supporting these local charities and we look forward to updating you through the year, as further local causes receive much needed funding and support.”
