Specialisms

Dipesh is our Senior Corporate Tax Manager, supporting clients across their corporate tax compliance and advisory requirements.

With more than 25 years’ experience in corporate tax, gained primarily at Top 15 firms BDO, Moore Kingston Smith and MacIntyre Hudson (MHA), Dipesh brings deep technical expertise and a commercial, solutions-focused approach. He specialises in complex tax advisory work, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients achieve tax efficiency while maintaining robust compliance. He is also a key point of contact for technical tax matters and HMRC dispute resolution, drawing on extensive experience to secure favourable outcomes.

Dipesh has a particular focus on international tax, especially across the UK–US corridor, advising UK-based subsidiaries of large multinational groups. His cross-border expertise spans transfer pricing, hybrid mismatches, Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) rules, DAC6, the Common Reporting Standard (CRS), deferred taxation and group reorganisations.

As a specialist in R&D tax relief, Dipesh provides detailed health checks and strategic advice on Research and Development (R&D) tax claims, helping businesses ensure their submissions meet HMRC’s increasingly stringent requirements.

He also manages the end-to-end implementation of Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) schemes, including drafting client communications, negotiating valuation agreements with Shares and Assets Valuation (SAV) and overseeing Employment Related Securities (ERS) portal reporting.

His career highlights include managing the corporate tax setup for the launch of a record-breaking album by one of Britain’s best-known music artists, as well as authoring research on inheritance tax and heritage properties which was commissioned by the then Secretary of State for National Heritage.

Outside of work, Dipesh is a keen chess enthusiast (often found on Chess.com) and an accomplished musician, playing chromatic harmonica and keyboard in a Bollywood band specialising in music from the 1970s to the 1990s.
